Study at Hillcrest
We aim to help your daughters do their work well
We have a well-lit study room with Wi-Fi, printing facilities and Chromebooks, the perfect place for your daughter to get homework and revision done efficiently.
The study operates as a No Phone Zone to help girls to focus on getting their work done effectively, and a Supervisor is present during allocated silent Study (see below). Your daughters are welcome to make use of our study facilities.
During term time, we offer two supervised study sessions and subject support in English, Mathematics, French and Spanish to your daughters:
Years 10 - 13: Mondays 4:30 - 7:00 pm
Years 7 - 9: Wednesdays 4:30 - 6:30 pm
For any inquiries or further information about supervised study, you may contact us.
“Knowing that everyone else around me is trying to get their work done well really helps me to focus.”
— Maria, A-Level student
“I never thought I’d say this, but leaving my phone in the basket makes me way more productive!”
— Olivia, Year 9
The Easter Study Course (ESC)
Every year in the Easter Holidays, we participates in The Easter Study Course, a 6-day residential course organised by Tamezin Club for students in years 10-13. The Easter Study Course is popular every year as it’s the perfect opportunity to get homework and revision done in a productive study atmosphere, just before exam season kicks off.
The aim of the project is for the participants to develop an awareness of the needs of others and to foster growth in good study habits. Furthermore, the girls will maximise their time and develop life-long skills in resilience, emotional intelligence and thorough study.
Watch the video below for our last ESC which took place in Coniston Hall.
